Happy 3 Months, Addison!

Van The Man's Baby Shower.

This past weekend I also had the pleasure of participating in Kati's baby shower for her sweet little nugget, Van. I attempted creating a diaper cake for the first time and although I now suffer from rubber band fingers, it was all worth it. She is delivering my future son-in-law, after all.


Addie insisted on getting all dolled up and I tried to explain to her that Van was still in utero and couldn't actually SEE her yet. Now is the time she should be slumming it in a pony tail and yoga pants. When he is born, THEN we will bust out the fancy outfits and low-cut onesies.

Cannot wait for Van to get here so I can love on him! :)

Toys R Us Is Going To Take All Of Our Money.

Two blog entries in one day = Addie took an extra long nap and all the housework is done. Watch out! So we took half pint on her first toy shopping trip at Toys R Us this weekend. Then we spent no less than 2000 hours opening and programming her toys. I had to actually connect her puppy to my laptop to personalize it. Toys have come a long way, people! Now this puppy says "Hello Addison!" every time you turn it on in a super creepy high pitched voice but it makes her laugh so I am not complaining.

Something else I have noticed. Everytime Jas and I get excited about experiencing one of her firsts (ie her first swim, her first toy store trip) she promptly passes out and acts bored. She ended up with some pretty good loot though. :)

I like to call this one, "Raise your hand if you tooted!" :)

Addie Bug & Maya Moo.

There has been so much going on, I feel like I can't catch up with blogging it all! This past week, we finally got to meet out sweet niece, Maya! It was so cute to see the cousins together. They kept cooing at each other and holding hands, they were completely amused with each other. :)

Coming up.... Addie's first trip to Toys R Us and attending her future husband, Van's Baby Shower. :)

We love our $20 Walmart white trash blow up pool!

Addie went for her very first swim on Saturday, it took her a few minutes to relax and several minutes of us trying to get her to you know, OPEN HER EYES and see what was going on. She fell asleep twice midfloat (as you can see in one of the pics) from all the excitement. :)

So my title is pretty boring. To be honest there were a thousand things I could have named this entry. Here are just a few:

3. The Quiznos By GameStop That Will Never Be The Same.
4. The Meat Buffet & The Carnivores Who Stuffed Themselves.
5. The Side Splittingly Hilarious Neon PaperClip Game.
6. Cattle Racing (Which Suprisingly Had Nothing To Do With The Meat Buffet.)
7. Mark Teaches Us Vietnamese And The Legend Of The Latern Lady.
8. Laci Changes Her First Poopy Diaper And Finds Out Mustard Isn't Just For Hotdogs.

We laughed so much our sides hurt. We ate waaaay too much meat at Fogo De Chao. Addie got lotsa lovin from her Aunt Laci and Uncle Mark. It was waaaay too hard to say goodbye. We love you guys!
