Etsy Studio Love.

This weekend I made full use of my newfound feel-good-ed-ness and we worked our butts off to get my brand new Etsy studio put together and set up. Or should I say, Jason worked his butt off while I supervised and umm err kept the dogs out of his hair?

I am so tickled at how it turned out. I have SPACE! I no longer have to drag projects and fill Etsy orders on the kitchen counter! My shop had been on somewhat of a hold while we were getting all of this together, so I am ready to hit the ground running. Of course I will be happily sharing this space with Addie once she gets here as this will double for a play room. I'm ok with that, though. :)

^This picture sucks but, the dog cage is being moved somewhere, poor dogs are getting the boot! That empty wall on the left is where all of Addie's toys and such will go. I love the big space in the middle of the floor she will have to play.

And now for my very favorite part..... where I got to go psycho with my mad organizational obsession......

PIMP!!!! You need another angle don't you? Don't you?

I am a freak but a very organized one. Think you can handle more? HUH?

^Oh yeah, that's right, mason jars for organzing knick knacks. BOOO YAH!
I'm going to need to take a break to compose myself now. Excuse me.

A Family.

I'd been calling the lab for results every single day since we had the test done last Wednesday for the results. Anxious much? Even though they said it took 7-10 days, I dialed it again yesterday and to my complete shock the results were in and the recording was reading off our results.

It clicked in my head, I am about to find out what our baby is!!! At the end of reading all the results for the genetic testing (which were all good and clear! PHEW) the tone of the voicemail changes and she says, "And congratulations, you are having a.... XXXXXX."

I couldn't believe it. So much so that I called back to listen to it again.

Holy mackeral, she really DID just say that! I resisted every urge I had to call Jas right then and tell him because I knew I wanted to suprise him in person.

I stopped by Walmart on the way home and bought supplies. Ross helped me blow up balloons.

When Jas came through the door I smiled and told him to go look and see what I got for the nursery. And when he opened the door, he saw this:

That's right folks, WE ARE HAVING A GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A sweet baby girl.

A daughter. And I know as women we say, "I don't care what it is as long as it is healthy." Which is true.
.

But I think it is safe now to admit that though I thought it was a boy, I was secretly hoping for a girl.

.

I think I was afraid to say it out loud for fear it wouldn't come true.

.

We're having a daughter.

I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want to be married to me right now. MUAHAHAHAHA.

12 Weeks!

Holy mackeral, what a difference 2 weeks can make! :)

Oh so dramatic already with hand over face. I'm sure he/she gets that from Jason, right? ;)
