My Jaw Hitting The Floor.

I am freaking out over here and trying not to pee on myself because well, I'm at work and that'd just be embarassing. I'm still in disbelief but completely honored and excited and holy mackeral I'M ON BRIDES.COM! There is a picture of one of my flower girl pomanders and a short blurb about other items in my shop and a link and holy cow, this is the best Friday EVAH.

*A little backstory for those who asked.... Kim Forrest, the editor of Brides Houston, emailed me on etsy about a week or so ago telling me she liked my stuff and asked permission to write about it and use a picture if they decided to use it as a post on the site. Of course I agreed but was still unsure if it would get posted or not.... so needless to say I was pretty darn excited when I saw it did indeed get published! Ok, enough squeeeeeing, back to work!

Booked.
We've been planning on taking a trip for Jason's 30th birthday coming up in August as we know it won't be long before he ages most rapidly and our vacations consist of our concierge yelling at us to inform Jason that he can't take his walker with tennis balls into the hotel pool.
We had found a really good deal on Jamaica but after reading disheartening reviews and hearing a few horror stories from friends, we decided against it. Coincidentally, an email from Expedia had found its way into my inbox yesterday boasting "HOT DEALS FOR MEXICO!" I clicked on the link because Mexico is heaven and, well, the use of all CAPS made it obvious someone really wanted me to.
Lo and behold the first deal was to the all-inclusive resort that was actually our second choice when booking our honeymoon last year.
And it was on sale for 60% off. 60%! We pounced on it. 4 nights was cheaper than 3 nights in Jamaica so we ended up saving money all the way around!
We have to be the luckiest kids on the planet. Pinch me! Ok, not too hard. :)

Matrimony.
Congratulations Kati & Jeff!!
We attended their wedding reception Saturday and had an absolute blast dancing and eating some of the BEST.BBQ.EVER.
