Give Thanks.

Thanksgiving at Mom's went well. Lucky for us, my little brother Phillip and sis-in-law Sandra were able to make it and provide us with endless entertainment. It has been many years since we have been together on Thanksgiving so we had to make up for lost time by trying to make Phillip eat weird things, do weird things and say weird things. Oh, the memories.

Obviously, Phillip couldn't even let go of the Wii remote long enough to take a picture.

This could be why I am so sore I could barely get out of bed this morning:

Wii is even Gigi-friendly!

They save a bundle on marriage counseling.

Hope everyone had a happy and safe Thanksgiving!!

Paradise.

This post is coming a little late but we made it back from Playa Del Carmen safe and sound. We had an amazing time doing absolutely nothing but stuffing our faces and relaxing in total paradise. Some pics from our trip:

And Then A Light Bulb Went On.

....literally.

On Day 15 after Ike, our power was restored. I've never loved using a vacuum cleaner and a garbage disposal more in my entire life.

How It's Done.

There is nothing cuter than a birthday cheesecake scrawled on in "man-writing."

Ike The Terrible.

So not only did Hurricane Ike reek havoc on homes and lives across the Gulf Coast, but it also left us with gas lines at the pump looking like this:

I hope that everyone is safe with their families,

damage is minimal and life is getting somewhat back to normal.

Coming To A Mailbox Near You.

Invites mailed out and rose petal cones made, thanks to all the ladies who were kind enough to help Saturday night. It's amazing what people will do for free food! I kid.

I think Ross was unphased by the crafting session:

Invites should be popping up in mailboxes soon from Texas to Pennsylvania to Oklahoma to England to Lousiana. Keep your eyes peeled.

In Touch.

Hi Everyone!!

We are blessed to have family and friends all over the country and after numerous requests (demands, rather) to do a better job of keeping in touch, we were directed to this site. Most know me as completely myspace and facebook illiterate so wish me luck in keeping up with it! Hopefully, this will serve as a great way to keep everyone updated and will also be a place for us to document our lives as an almost-married couple. (53 more days!)

Loads of love,
Mack & Jas
